One-In-Ten Jobs In America Depends On The Auto Industry. Is It Essentail That The American Auto Industry Survive And Strive. Give Them The Loan. Period! In The 10:00 A.M. (EST) Hour, Chris Markowski, The Watch Dog On Wall Steet, Joins Harry To Talk About The Big Three Auto makers As They Make Their Way To Washington D.C. Once Again To Convince The Congress & Senate That Giving Them A $25 Billion Dollar Loan Is Necessary To Their Survival. Below Is A Letter That The Car Concerns Office Is Sending To Members Of U.S. Congress And The Senate: John, On my radio talk show, Car Concerns, I am covering the "BIG 3" efforts to obtain the $25 Billion Dollar Loan from the American Tax Payers. We, the U.S. Taxpayers, have just bailed out AIG and others for Billions. We have gave a $700 Dollar Bailout to Wall Street Banks and Financial Instititions. Just last week we gave Billions more to Citi Bank. The majority of my callers were enraged that this bail-out took place on the second try. I did not observe any of the CEO's of these financial firms coming before Congress to be grilled and humiliated like the Automobile Executives were. It's as though the Bankers made a phone call to the U.S. Treasury and got the funds that they needed printed up. In defense of the American Automobile Manufactures I think that it would be a horrible mistake not to give Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors this Government backed loan. There is so much at stake. These CEO's took my que to take a page out of Lee Iacocca's Chrysler Revival plan as he cut his salary to $1.00 A Year until he got Chrysler back in the black. I was on my way back from the L.A. Auto Show a couple of weeks ago and I paid close attention to the disrespectful ways the these Auto Executives were treated like small children. Time is money and for a member of Congress to take the time to film the Auto Corporate Jets making their way to Washington D.C. was child-like actions. I would expect our Governmet officals to act in a more mature nature. As an Award Winning New Car Dealer myself I often took private jets to and from Auto Meetings and Auctions to save money and time! If giving the Big Three is not in the cards, lets give every man and woman 21 and over a brand new vehicle. That would help the Auto Makers and the Great American Motorist. Now I here that Nancy Pelosi wants a new $500 Billion Stimulus package that is full of Pork like the last $700 billion to help the American Citizen. The first $700 Billion has done nothing for the American Consumer as the banks kept it for themselves. Last, but surely not least, I would like to ask you to introduce a bill to give the American New Car Dealers a stimulus package of the same magnitude. The New Car Dealers that I have talked to in recent weeks are afraid that they cannot hang on for much longer because they can't get loans for their customers. Also several told me that the lending institutions that hold their floorolans have gave them 30 to 90 days to pay-off these multi-million dollar floor-pan loans. If the Government wants to do a constuctive thing, hold the floor-plan on U.S. delaerships and charge them interst rate that is equal to a half-of-a-percentage point over prime. Talking about a return on the Tax-Payers money! I would like invite you to come into the studio and sit in on Car Concerns with me. Talking to the retail automotive consumer can give you a great prespective on want the consumer is feeling out there. Chrysler and General Motors provide me with a different brand new vehicle to drive every week.I can testify that these American Auto manufactures are producing great American Automobiles that are World Class.
